Who is Analemma
The heart of ANALEMMA is Hendrik Hollander.
His fascination for the movement of the celestial bodies started at an early age. After the completion of his study at the
Technical University Eindhoven (Netherlands) he develloped a career as information technology consultant.
Still having a great liking for the star-spangled sky, he started to design simple sundials.
What started as a hobby, florished in a profession. Hendrik now designs sundials with software which is developped by himself.
The sundials get their definitive form in close cooperation with the customer. Often artist with different backgrounds are involved, depending on the specific materials and needs.
Hendrik is committe member of the observatory of Amsterdam and regularly conducts lectures on astronomical subjects.
