Sundial distribution over The Netherlands
One of the activities of De Zonnewijzerkring is the maintenance of a database of sundials in The Netherlands.
Not every sundial is entered. The ones for sale at any garden centre, for example, are not.
Those that are, are mainly old sundials in, on, or by buildings in the Netherlands, or newer dials which are unique in number.
The map shows the distribution of the sundials in the database over The Netherlands.
