Small Lead Sundial

In 2006, somewhere in The Netherlands, this small lead sundial was found using a metal detector.
The dial measures only about 10 cm (4 inches) square.
Mounting holes are visible in the four corners, possibly for use in a windowsill.
The slit shows where a style triangle would have been, but one was not found.

This is a horizontal sundial: the hour numerals from IV am to VIII pm run clockwise.
The hour line pattern is in good condition.

There are a few lines on what is now the bottom of the sundial.
Quite possibly, the maker started out here, but then realized he had forgotten to leave space for the hour numerals.
