Cube sundial

Our member Harry Bult made this cube sundial has for his son Michel’s fortieth birthday.
The round base accordingly shows the numbers 1968 and 2008.

The visible part of the cube is made of Trespa®, the sheets glued to a wood core.
The lines and numerals for the five sundials, which show local apparent time, were engraved by hand.
The styles are made of stainless steel.
The sundial rests on a stainless steel base that is coated black.
On this pedestal, there is a table, aiding in the conversion to Central European Time.
When summer time is in force, another hour is to be added.
The south dials is provide with the motto
