On the fortieth anniversary of the Ribro transport company, the employees gave a sundial.
Actually, they gave two: an east and a west dial.
The sundial is made of steel plate and has the shape of the company logo, a reclining letter r .
The sundial is painted a bright yellow, and the engraved pattern is coloured in green.
The sundials indicate local apparent time.
The east dial, pictured above in detail, has hour numerals from four to eleven. The west dial, its mirror image, has numerals from one to eight.
Three date lines mark the beginning of the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
To this end, the shadows of the indices in the sheet gnomons are used.
