This west-declining sundial reads the local apparent time. Only the afternoon hour lines have numerals.
Three dots on the noon line indicate the beginnings of the four seasons. The pole style has a small ball index.
The pole style and its index and support are accented with gold leaf.
The garland of little flowers lends a measure of playfulness and cheer to the sundial.
