Vertical sundial

Rotterdam

In 2008, a west declining vertical sundial was placed on the front of the “Arabesk” shop.
The sundial is made of honed granite.
The hour lines have numerals for the hours from 9 am to 6 pm.
The lines and numerals are coloured red.

There are three date curves, coloured blue, for the start of the four seasons.
The style triangle has an index for this indication. The photograph below shows it well.
Accents on the sundial are in gold leaf.
