Sundial of the month May

Nieuwe Kerk (New Church), Amsterdam.

High on the gable apex of the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam sits a round, slightly east declining, marble sundial.
Dutch postage stamps from 1948 and 1980 show this sundial .....

..... and this is what it looks like in reality.

However, there is also a triple sandstone sundial, much lower, on the east column of the south transept.
The stone is placed slightly obliquely in the wall, making the main dial facing south exactly.

Hidden behind the sculpted women's heads, there are two more sundials: an east dial and a west dial.
Unfortunately, at a restoration, the styles for these two sundials have disappeared.
