An analemmatic sundial was placed at the Environment Centre in Deventer in 2005.
This project was an achievement of volunteers and staff.
The Sundial Society helped with the design and calculations.
It was a conscious choice to use sturdy elements for the hour points.
This makes it possible for children to play on the sundial.
The sundial indicates summer time (DST), because most outdoor activities take place in summer.
