The diameter of the plaza sundial is 15 meters.
The colourful gnomon is about 7 m long and has a diameter of ca. 15 cm.
The raised, one-meter tall Roman numerals occupy a 1.6 m wide circular band in the pavement. The numerals go from VI up to IX (21). There are no hour or half-hour lines.
The time indicated is Central-European summer (dst) time.
Mr. Maarten Klomp designed and built this sundial in 1998.

The first three numerals of the morning hours are misspelled. Instead of VI, VII, and VIII, they read IV, IIV, and IIIV.
It is to be hoped that this may one day be corrected.
